Blow me down!

Ever dreamed of having a life-size Popeye in your living room?
Recently spotted this one through the windows of an antique shop. Enjoy!

Hello, Joakim,
I have been following your work in this blog and I want to say that now I'm looking for some strips of "The adventures of Patsy", year 1935. I'm writing an article series about some comic strips and I need to look at some strips where "The Phantom Magician" appears. I think this character did his appearance in april, 1935, but I'm from Spain and I don't know where Patsy strips were originally published and I have not access to the newspapers. I need to see two or three strips where "The Phantom" appears and I will be very grateful to you if you could publish a post on these appearances. Or perhaps you could tell me where I can find them..
Thank you very much for your attention and I'm sorry for my limited English.

Hi!

The Phantom Magician made his debut on April 15, 1935. It's available in Missing Years #23, published by SPEC Production. More Patsy dailies can be found in #24.

I don't have any scans of these dailies at hand but an image of the Phantom Magician can be found at Don Markstein's Toonopedia: http://www.toonopedia.com/phanmagi.htm

OK. Thank you very much. I think that I can buy the Missing Years #23 and extract some strips from there.
